What symptoms do you see?

Go! I push the button, but nothing at all happens
Go! I push the button, display reads 188.88 and fades out
Go! I push the button, display reads 188.88 briefly, then ERR or -ERR
Go! I push the button, display reads 188.88 briefly, then ----
Go! I push the button, get 188.88 briefly, then CAL, put on the weight, but it stays on CAL
